Following its much anticipated grand opening March 2015, Omnia Las Vegas has quickly become the hottest club on the strip. Located in the space previously occupied by Pure Nightclub in Caesars, Omnia LV features a star studded EDM DJ line up that includes Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, and Tiesto. The Omnia aura begins upon entering the lavish space. A colossal lighting system, which looms over the expansive dance floor, sends cascading light throughout the main club. Guests under the four-story roof will be showered with beams of changing colored lights revealing layers of architectural wonders.

The main club boasts a dramatic 65-foot-tall ceiling dome that encompasses a 22,000-pound kinetic chandelier. The grandiose centerpiece of the main club consists of eight concentric rings featuring production elements including theatrical lighting effects, video projections and light-emitting diodes (LED) choreographed to evolve throughout the night.

If you’re into hip hop music, Heart of Omnia is a separate area within Omnia that features a hip-hop DJ. There’s also a rooftop terrace upstairs that has it’s own DJ, typically playing more chill music. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to hear the main DJ unless you’re in the main room. On the Record at the MGM (Open Format)

Front Entrance of On The Record at Park MGM Las Vegas

An ode to all things music takes over On The Record, the new nightclub at the Park MGM. Los Angeles twins Jonnie and Mark Houston created this new nightlife experience that features a music store entrance, karaoke rooms, a speakeasy, a patio with a double-decker bus for the deejays, guest bartenders, and a dance floor.

The experience, unlike any other nightclub in the city, sits across from the Park Theater with a record store entrance that spans two floors.

Club-goers then head to a speakeasy door that leads to an 11,000-square-foot space outfitted with speakers, TV screens, and cassette tapes from yesteryear. Visitors can try out one of the three karaoke rooms, step out on the patio with that double-decker bus, or head to the main room with a deejay booth fashioned from a Rolls-Royce.

Then there’s a living room space with a fireplace, and the vinyl parlor, where guest bartenders sling specialty drinks.

Drai’s After Hours at The Cromwell (2 rooms – 1 Hip Hop, 1 EDM)

After Hours Tables at Drais After Hours Las Vegas

So, the DJ is starting to wind down at the club you’re at but you’ve still got a solid six or seven hours of party left in you. It’s the timeless dilemma many of us have encountered at some point or another.

What to do, what to do… Head to Drai’s After Hours in The Cromwell. Look for the gold elevator marked with the curvaceous body of a woman in ruby red dress. The club is located underground where it originally opened in the Barbary Coast. Plain and simple, if you’re looking for after-hours fun on the Strip, this is the place to be. Cashing in on everything saucy about after-hours, Drai’s digs deep to give you a club experience like no other. Drai’s pioneered the “after-hours” late-night concept in 1997, providing an intimate and exclusive spot where the party continued til sunrise.

Drai’s features two separate rooms – one playing hip hop and one playing electronic music. Be forewarned – on occasion when it gets really busy you may have to pay an extra cover charge to get into the hip hop room. But you can’t put a price on fun!

Move over, slot machines! Las Vegas is shifting from the center of the gambling universe to the center of the nightclub phenomenon, giving Ibiza and Rio a run for their bottle-service money.

Only a few years ago, few people could have predicted how DJ-driven electronic dance music would take off in Sin City, but today, it’s the new paradigm of true over-the-top Vegas vogue, with the world’s top nightclubs — Hakassan (MGM Grand), XS and OMNIA (Caesars Palace), Marquee (Cosmopolitan), and Drai’s (The Cromwell) — leading the charge.

Floor-to-ceiling screens featuring the most impressive visual and lighting effects ever seen, crystal-clear audio at ear-splitting decibels, 80-sided LED disco balls, the world’s highest-grossing celebrity DJs, and a teeming mass of fist-pumping humanity all combine for non-stop after-dark debauchery.

Of course, you’ll have to navigate the lines, payoffs at the door, and money-grubbing scene inside. And remember, if you don’t look like the 21st-century version of Superfly, forget about passing the dress test.

W&W portrait

Best W&W Songs of All Time – Top 5 Tracks

W&W is a Dutch DJ and record producer duo composed of Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst. They began their careers by producing trance music, before venturing into big room house and other forms of EDM.

After producing trance for five years, W&W founded their own record label called Mainstage Music, and became active in the big room house scene. This was followed by the release of their commercial breakthrough “Bigfoot” in 2014. In 2017, they returned to their original trance style with the NWYR (pronounced “new year”) project. Their record label Mainstage changed its name to Rave Culture at the end of 2018, focusing on a wider variety of genres.

Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst began to build an interest in trance music while in their youths. The duo first met through Windows Live Messenger, which they used to share their song productions with one another. The track “Mustang”, which appeared at the same year, became a success and was played by Armin van Buuren and Tiësto in their sets. On the basis of van der Harst’s recording contract, Armada Music released the song as a single on 7 July 2008. Within a short time, the track achieved popularity on several forums and music platforms. In 2011, they made their first appearance on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list when they reached the 36th place.

On 18 November 2016, they released their fifth official collaboration with Hardwell titled “Get Down”. It enjoyed popularity following its premiere at the Ultra Music Festival. Unlike its predecessors, the track was based on jungle terror elements together with their typical big room style. Malaa is an electronic music DJ and producer, who is signed to Tchami’s label Confession. He broke onto the electronic music scene through his single “Notorious”, which was the second release on Confession. His identity is unknown as he appears in public as a balaclava-wearing man.

Malaa’s identity is unknown. It is strongly suggested that Malaa consists of a duo with DJs DJ Snake and Tchami, as they are credited often on each other’s track productions and are connected to the project via remixes. It is also speculated that Mercer is involved in Malaa, since the same management team is shared between the three artists. Through a Reddit post made on the topic, Redditors discovered a tweet on Twitter where a user wrote “cant believe im opening for dj snake + tchami’s side project next thursday”, while linking to a SoundCloud mix by Malaa. The tweet was then favourited by DJ Snake’s Twitter account, which hints his participation on the topic. French DJ Sebastien Benett is also speculated to be Malaa, due to the quick removal of a Facebook comment from Mercer’s profile which stated that Malaa was a nickname of Benett, and that the last posts by Benett on SoundCloud coincide with the first appearances of Malaa.

Malaa is currently part of the Pardon My French team, a collective of four French DJs composed of DJ Snake, Mercer, Tchami and himself. Throughout the year 2016 and early 2017, the collective went on a Pardon My French Tour in North America. Malaa has a residency at Marquee in Las Vegas.

Best Cheat Codes Songs of All Time – Top 5 Tracks

Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes debuted in 2015 with their single “Visions,” a floor-filling, radio-ready bite of house in a vein similar to Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. Each of the group’s three members — Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford — has deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo).

Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes’ stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of “Visions,” they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged “Don’t Say No” (featuring Dresses), “Senses” (featuring Lostboycrow), and “Adventure” (featuring Evan Gartner).

As they gained exposure on social media and spins on streaming services, they joined The Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop in 2016, when they unveiled a pair of global hits: the Top Ten, multi-platinum “Sex” (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam) and “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” (with Dante Klein).

The following year they released their biggest feature yet, “No Promises” with Demi Lovato on vocals, and embarked on the No Promises world tour (taking them to the U.S., Europe, and Australia). The single was certified platinum in Australia, the U.S., and around Europe, peaking in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. They followed their Lovato hit with “Feels Great,” which featured Fetty Wap and CVBZ, and “Put Me Back Together” with Kiiara.

In 2018, singles like “NSFW” (with Danny Quest) and “Balenciaga” maintained their exposure, while the trio provided remixes for high-profile singles by Thirty Seconds to Mars (“Dangerous Night”), U2 (“Love Is Bigger Than Anything in Its Way”), and Sean Paul (“Mad Love”).

After issuing their first official EP, Level 1, that summer, they released additional singles “Home” and “Feeling of Falling” with Kim Petras. The following year saw the arrival of the Level 2 EP, which featured guest spots from the likes of Trixie, Afrojack, Kaskade, and more
