Encore Beach Club at Wynn Encore (EDM)

Crowded Pool Party called Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas

Some of the experienced Vegas Pool Party goers call Encore Beach Club the “happiest place on earth”. After a day at EBC, it’d be hard to disagree with them. Encore Beach Club’s 50,000 square foot space features lounges, couches, daybeds, cabanas, bungalows, lily pads, 3 pools, a gaming pavilion, a state of the art sound system, the EBC girls, champagne showers, and beautiful people as far as the eye can see.

The layout of EBC is truly what separates this pool party from the others. The pool is always clean, the EDM music is great, the dance floor is easily accessible and food is served which is always a bonus. The crowd is usually young and upbeat so partying is elevated to another level of fun and enjoyment. But that’s not all. During the summer, Encore Beach Club turns into EBC at Night, which features night swims. That means you can wear a swimsuit, get into the pool and party with your favorite DJ under the stars!

Drai’s Beach Club at Cromwell (Hip Hop)

A Busy Pool Party at Drais Beach Club at the Cromwell Las Vegas

Found on the 11th floor of The Cromwell, Drai’s Beach Club reigns over what is arguably the busiest intersection in Vegas. During the daytime, it’s a beach pool party on steroids; in the evening, it morphs into an upscale high-voltage nightclub. The dayclub features an unblocked rooftop which displays an unrivaled view of the Red Rock Mountains in the distance and the Bellagio fountains which is located across the street.

The central pool is surrounded by palm trees while pink curtains cover the second-floor cabanas outfitted with HD TVs — but with all the beautiful people dancing to the tunes of a live DJ, it’s doubtful anyone will be watching much television. The nightclub is a two-story indoor space facing the dayclub pool and includes shiny black, semi-circular booths and a horseshoe DJ station surrounded by columns decorated with tons of postage stamp-sized mirrors.

Drai’s will very often be playing top 40 / hip hop but it always depends on the DJ. On occasion they will bring in EDM DJs such as Quintino or Sidney Samson; on these days you’ll get a mix of hip hop and EDM.

Pro-tip: Hotel guests at the Cromwell get free access to the dayclub.

Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan (EDM)

View of the Massive Pool Party Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan

A sprawling club complex in the heart of North America’s ultimate party city, Marquee is arguably one of the key architects of the Stateside dance music revolution. Split into Marquee Dayclub — a sun-blazed, opulent poolside space open during the Summer season — and Marquee Nightclub, with its three different areas (The Boom Box Room, Library and Main Room), it’s undoubtedly one of the most impressive venues in the US.

Credit for this claim goes to Marquee’s sound and light systems. Marquee has a Funktion One sound system with 32,000-watt subwoofers and a state-of-the-art audio-visual stage set-up designed by Steve Liberman. The venue looks and sounds spectacular enough to wow the high rollers that have been known to frequent the venue.

The dayclub features three-story Bungalow Lofts, complete with cabanas, living quarters, grand Las Vegas pool cabanas with infinity pools and a party deck on top. This place gets wild.

Wet Republic at MGM Grand (EDM)

DJ Tiesto Performing at Wet Republic Pool Party in Las Vegas

A privileged playground for partygoers and celebrities, Wet Republic at MGM Grand combines the best elements of Vegas nightlife with supreme poolside amenities to create the ultimate pool party experience. The unrivaled hot spot delivers a variety of experiences for its guests, whether they want to relax over cocktails in the poolside lounge, reside in exclusive VIP bungalows, or bask under the sun in the party scene on the main pool deck or cabanas.

The 54,500-square-foot pool at the MGM Grand just underwent a $3.574 million remodel to 18,400 square feet of the space. Last year, the pool debuted an expanded DJ booth, an upgraded LED display, extended bar and new furniture. The latest renovations added six new VIP bungalows equipped with furnishings, TVs and misting fans all equipped with three private plunge pools. New restrooms and shower facilities as well as an extended shade area have also been added.

Resident DJs and artists include Tiesto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tyga, Afrojack, and many more.

JEMAA at the Nomad Pool (Open Format)

Cabanas and Lounge Chairs at JEMAA Las Vegas

On weekends, The NoMad Pool transforms into JEMAA – The NoMad Pool Party. A seductive and energetic daytime experience, JEMAA features a renowned cocktail program, table side service, and a roster of top-tier DJs and artists delivering themed music performances — including a tropical house vibe on Sundays.

The gorgeous and spacious pool is at the center of it all, surrounded by daybeds, cabanas, and bungalows. Guests will also find two bars as well as a covered area so you may escape the sun, setup perfectly for dining. Enjoy a star studded lineup of DJs all summer as the luxurious pool provides a tranquil escape from the neon, glitter, heat, and sweat that accompanies The Strip.

This garden-like oasis, inspired by the Majorelle Gardens of Morocco, features casual fare, expertly-crafted cocktails and a robust selection of wines. Don’t forget to inquire about the cocktail fountain at JEMMA, known for their award winning food and elite cocktail list.

Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay (Hip Hop)

Busy Pool Party with DJ at Daylight Beach Club Las Vegas

Daylight Beach Club (DBC) made its debut Summer 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and since then has gone on to become one of the hottest dayparties in Las Vegas. Daylight features 70 daybeds, 25 cabanas, 6 LED screens, a 5,000 sq foot pool. The venue is spacious which means the club offers tons of room to roam around and explore. Shoulder to shoulder clubbing can get old real quick.

Like Light nightclub at the Mandalay, Daylight initially started out playing primarily EDM, but with last year’s change in management, Daylight has shifted to a Hip Hop / top 40 vibe. Daylight is open during the summer Vegas pool season, which usually starts late March/early April and runs until Labor Day.

Pro-tip: We have a free guestlist for girls and even ratio parties that include drink tickets.

TAO Beach at Venetian (Hip Hop / Top 40)

Cabanas and Pool View at Intimate TAO Beach at Venetian Las Vegas

When the weather heats up, TAO Beach offers a sizzling hot daytime experience under the crystal blue Las Vegas sky. By day, guests can secure a reservation to lounge poolside in one of 12 luxury cabanas that features such amenities as air-conditioning, high definition plasma screen televisions with gaming consoles, WiFi and customized mini bars. Other amenities include sunglasses cleaning and a staff of masseuses. TAO Beach is not your typical dayparty experience.

Asian-inspired daybeds are scattered throughout the 18,000-square-foot oasis which includes a 30-foot bar where guests can sip on TAO-tinis and TAO-jitos made with fresh exotic ingredients. An extensive appetizer and grill menu is also available.

The outdoor oasis serves as an extension of the famed nightclub every Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the season with cabanas and tables for VIP bottle service. As night falls, guests will find themselves in an open-air nightclub featuring two 14-foot fire columns, high-energy music from resident and international guest DJs and strategically-placed beds which are perfect for lounging with friends while taking in the action.

TAO Beach always plays a mix of top 40 / hip hop / open format music. Bottle service here is fairly reasonably priced as far as dayclubs go.

Bare Pool at The Mirage (Hip Hop/ Top 40)

View of the Pool at Bare Pool Inside Mirage Las Vegas

Bare Pool is located at the Mirage. To find Bare Pool, one must trek down a winding path through a jungle oasis that feels like a secret hideaway. Upon arrival, you’ll find an intimate pool area where women are free to wander around topless if they choose. Bare offers a more relaxing, chill atmosphere without the wall-to-wall packed in feeling of some of the other clubs. You’ll find 14,000 square feet that includes two luxury dipping pools, a full service bar, six plasma screens, poolside daybeds, chaise lounge chairs and cabanas. As with many of the Vegas pool clubs, expect to find an endless number of beautiful people, scantily clad and looking to be seen.

The atmosphere at Bare Pool is a lot more chill and laid back than that of the other dayclubs / pools. If you’re looking for an out of control rager, you’ll want to skip Bare. If you’re looking for a place to lie down, chill, hang out with friends with some background music, Bare Pool is your spot!

Bonus: XS Nightswim at the Wynn (EDM)

Are you a fan of nightclubs? How about pool parties? A few clubs in Las Vegas have combined the two to create the nightswim –  the pool party at night.

The Sunday nightswim at XS is the undisputed king. Featuring dry 80 degree nights, beautiful people, and the biggest DJs in the world, nightswims are a unique experience that are essential to any Vegas trip. XS does not host a day party so your only opportunity to get in the water at the King of Clubs is the Sunday XS nighswim.

XS nightswim on Sundays is THE best party in Vegas, hosting up to 5,000 people in a gorgeous venue. Party to the beats of DJs and artists such as The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Diplo, Alesso, Kygo, and Drake. If you’re in Vegas Sunday night, you need to be at this party.

Since the opening of Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel in 2003, the day-clubbing phenomenon has turned Las Vegas into a 24-hour party paradise.

Of all America’s major cities, only Phoenix and Arizona matches Las Vegas for sunshine. On average, 85% of the hours from dawn until dusk are showered in golden rays meaning it’s always pool weather here. Since the weather is phenomenal, the big hotels all compete to build better and more elaborate spaces for bathing and partying. Caesars’ recently revamped Garden of the Gods complex.

But, since this is Las Vegas, merely splashing around in water is not enough, no matter how cool the pool. In the past 10 years, the non-stop party vibe of Las Vegas has been cranked up a notch with the introduction of the day club. For the real money-no-object VIP experience, book a cabana.

Kaos Nightclub & Dayclub CLOSED Indefinitely

Kaos Nightclub and Dayclub is officially closing, according to a report from the Las Vegas Review Journal.

On Tuesday, Red Rock reported a net loss of $26.8 million in the third quarter, down $51.9 million from the same period last year. In a statement, they said:

“This afternoon, Red Rock Resorts, Inc. announced the closing of KAOS dayclub and nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort, effective immediately. While Palms has experienced exceptional growth across both the gaming and non-gaming segments of the business, the expense side of the business has been challenging to date, due in large part to the entertainment and fixed cost structure associated with KAOS. Therefore, we have decided to take some time to reassess the programming and use of those venues going forward. In the interim, we intend to use the venues for private meeting space and special events, in addition to everyday resort pool operations.”

The nightclub opened with major residencies from acts like Skrillex and Marshmello earlier this year. It was reported that Marshmello, Skrillex, and many of the other residents exited the nightclub in September.

Skrillex, Marshmello, G-Eazy End Residencies at Kaos Nightclub

Kaos Nightclub opened its doors earlier this year with one of the most stacked residency lineups in Las Vegas, including Marshmello‘s record-breaking $60 million dollar deal. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, however, some of its most high profile performers have pulled out of their contracts including Marshmello, Skrillex, and G-Eazy

At the time of writing, it’s uncertain why artists are pulling out. Neither the artists exiting nor Kaos have made a statement regarding the situation. Kaos’ website shows performances from Cardi B and YG on their calendar, but things may change due to recent developments.

Located inside the PALMS Casino Resort, Kaos Nightclub has been heralded as the new go-to superclub in Las Vegas. The club came correct with a massive grand opening weekend in April with performances from Alicia KeysTravis Scott, Skrillex, Cardi B, KaskadeGorgon City, and many more.

Kaos Dayclub Pool Parties To Run Through the Winter

Pool parties in the winter? Yes please.

Cardi B will not be performing topless again this year at Kaos Nightclub and Kaos Dayclub. We speak architecturally, of course.

The Palms is advancing its design of its club haven in a massive way with Kaos Dome, which is exactly as it is described: a see-through cover high above the Kaos pools area, connected to Kaos Nightclub.

Both clubs will close entirely Sept. 15 for construction, stay dark for six weeks, then Cardi B returns to re-open the space on Halloween with a “Demon Dome” spectacular.

The resort will keep the structure in place through March, then Kaos Dome comes down for a traditional summer season. If the party crowd loves the Dome, it will be back up in the fall of 2020.

“This is part of the original idea, to run pool parties through the winter,” Palms general manager Jon Gray said in a phone chat Thursday afternoon. “We wanted a transparent, full-daylight, enclosed and climate-controlled environment. It’s incredible, it’s massive and there is nothing else like it in Las Vegas.”

The structure is 70 feet high (easily clearing the 60-foot-tall “Demon With A Bowl” statue by Damien Hirst at the center of the complex) and covers 33,000 square feet of heretofore outdoor pool space. Constructed by Eventstar Structure Corp. of Miami, the structure is in a fixed position where the temperature can be controlled.

“We talked to several vendors to maintain the kind of environment we need to keep it comfortable,” Gray said. “It is a full structure, with columns, a permanent dome.”

The announcement arrives as the hotel has taken over all nightlife operations from Clique Hospitality, brought onboard during the hotel’s extensive renovations. The Palms’ execs are now enacting all of the resorts’ nightlife strategies in-house, and Gray said that his team sent the concept to owners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta III, who signed off on the Kaos Dome project.

The emphasis on year-round business indicates the scope of both Kaos clubs. Gray said the resort has been pulling in 6,000-8,000 guests per day and night on Saturdays.

“Business is great, our revenues have been great, and if you look at the number of bodies coming through the doors, we are doing very well,” Gray said.

Other popular mass-gatherings, such as New Year’s Eve, Super Bowl watch parties and NCAA Tournament games, are ripe for Kaos Dome treatment.

Kaos Nightclub / Dayclub Grand Opening – First Impressions

It’s been four years since a true megaclub opened in Las Vegas, Omnia at Caesars Palace. Since then, new or renovated nightclub spaces have been trending smaller and focusing on creating more intimate and customizable experiences. We’ve seen it with Jewel at Aria, Intrigue at Wynn and most recently at Park MGM with the innovative On the Record.

The team at the Palms threw that strategy out the window. KAOS is 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor party space, which might be hard to imagine if you’re familiar with Vegas’ other giants. It’s bigger than Omnia, Hakkasan, Encore Beach Club and XS, but if you cut it up into nightclub (indoor) and dayclub (outdoor), then KAOS is another intimate nightspace and the biggest pool party club in town. But you can’t do that because it uses most of its acreage every night (or at least it did for the past four nights), changing the flow of the party between two stages and keeping guests thrilled and guessing what would happen next. It’s the best kind of chaos.

The 29,000-square-foot nightclub is a multi-tiered spherical kaleidoscope of color and sound. Moving from the pool into this space is like boarding a spaceship, and the Tesla coil disco balls that “play” music at the center of the ceiling only add to the sci-fi vibes. There’s ample bar space at the back, like a concession concourse at a mini-arena, and a tight dancefloor facing up to a DJ booth that allows its artist-of-the-evening to play to both indoor and outdoor crowds.

The second stage sits between the two main pools outside, a flexible performance area visited by Marshmello, J Balvin, Kaskade, the Zac Brown Band and others over opening weekend. That’s a lot of different stuff. Damien Hirst’s now infamous “Demon With Bowl” statue dominates to the west, planted in the middle of a pool and surrounded by cabanas and the two restaurant patio spaces of Greene St. Kitchen and Shark.

Unless the venue is going to continue packing in record-breaking crowds every day, moving around the 73,000-square-foot KAOS Dayclub is pretty easy, making it the best kind of pool club: one you can enjoy without buying a cabana, daybed or bottle service setup. There are four huge bars around its perimeter, and the larger pool to the east end of the club creates a bit of an oasis amid the insanity. Every other second-level cabana is outfitted with its own private pool cantilevered up to the edge of the overlook, creating yet another cool Instagram shot when those sparkling blue mini-pools are filled with party people. Everything about KAOS’ design is impressive, including the hotel tower-sized LED screen flashing above it … and we won’t even get into the food and booze packages. Another time.

It’s worth noting that KAOS is an instant success because it builds on everything that’s come before it. It’s long been true that there’s no nightclub environment in the world like the one we have in Las Vegas, and the Palms has pushed this style of entertainment to the next level, borrowing successful innovations from the competition and expanding upon them. Tao Beach was the first Vegas venue built specifically for day parties. Wet Republic and Marquee Dayclub brought new ways to party and different sounds to the Strip. Encore Beach Club added luxury and superlative service, Drai’s Beachclub was the first to throw concert-length live performances into the mix, and both of those venues, along with XS Nightclub, advanced the trend of nighttime pool parties.

KAOS looks and feels like it can do all of the above, not surprising considering many members of the team that engineered it have been leading these advancements for years. That’s a great thing for the Palms, an exceptional story for the nightlife industry in general and an even greater thing for Las Vegas, which is what matters most.

Kaos Nightclub at the Palms Announces Cardi B Residency

Coming to KAOS, a new day and nightclub opening at the Palms Casino Resort the first weekend in April, Cardi joins a hip-hop and EDM-heavy lineup that will have G-Eazy, Above and Beyond, Kaskade and Skrillex taking up up residencies throughout the year.

Cardi’s dates have not yet been finalized, but the Palms confirmed that the rapper will play a total of 5-6 shows over the course of the next year, beginning this spring and continuing through next winter. Tickets for the first of Cardi’s dates will go on sale in the coming weeks.

Ticket pricing will range from as low as $25 for general admission seats purchased well in advance to as high as $500 at the door, according to Palms general manager Jon Gray. Tables with full bottle service can be bought from anywhere between $2,500 to upwards of $50,000 depending on size and location.

Complete with multiple stages, the state-of-the-art performance space will hold 8,000 guests, featuring a 360 rotating stage positioned between the indoor nightclub space and outdoor rooftop space, allowing artists to simultaneously perform to both guests inside the nightclub and outside in one of several rooftop pools, bars and cabanas.

“It’s our largest venue, so that enabled us to bring a massive group of people here to enjoy the nightlife experience,” Gray said of the 100,000 square foot, $690 million project. While the “nightclub” description might lead customers to expect a cozy environment, KAOS will actually dwarf the Palms’ primary existing music space, the Pearl Concert Theater, a seated venue that hosts rock and country acts like Blink 182, Lady Antebellum and a currently running Billy Idol residency.

“Every date that the club is open will have premiere talent,” Gray said of KAOS, hinting at more acts of Cardi’s caliber to be announced in the coming weeks.

The announcement comes just weeks ahead of Cardi’s performance at the 2019 Grammys, at which the rapper is nominated for five awards including Record of the Year for “I Like It” and Best Rap Album for “Invasion of Privacy.” Earlier this month, she announced a new album coming this spring.
