Best Tyga Songs of All Time – Top 5 Tracks

Tyga is making the hottest come back with his latest album Legendary.

Tyga (a backronym for Thank you God always), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. After a number of independent releases, Tyga signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records in 2008. His major label debut Careless World: Rise of the Last King was released in 2011 and included the successful singles “Rack City”, “Faded” featuring Lil Wayne, “Far Away” featuring Chris Richardson, “Still Got It” featuring Drake, and “Make It Nasty”.

After disagreements with Young Money, Tyga’s fourth album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty was released independently on June 23, 2015 and became his worst selling album to that point, selling just 5000 equivalent album units in its first week.

After a long period of poor sales and negative reviews from previous albums, his May 2018 single, “Taste” featuring Offset, peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, being his first Top 40 single since “Ayo” with Chris Brown in 2015. That single would later serve as the lead single for his seventh album Legendary, which was eventually released in 2019. Best Calvin Harris Songs of All Time – Top 5 Tracks

Adam Richard Wiles, known in the dance world as CALVIN HARRIS – went from posting his music online to producing material for Rihanna and selling millions under his own name within a few years. A talented remixer and DJ as well, he has won Grammys and MTV VMA awards, broke Michael Jackson’s record for the most U.K. Top Ten singles from one album, and was named Forbes’ highest earning DJ in 2013.

Born on January 17, 1984, in the southern Scotland city of Dumfries, Harris was first attracted to electronic music in his teens and was recording bedroom demos by 1999. Two of these songs, “Da Bongos” and “Brighter Days,” were released as a 12″ club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the artist name Stouffer. With that single to his credit, the still teenaged Harris moved from Scotland to London, but as a very small fish in one of the world’s largest and most competitive ponds, Harris floundered; only one of his songs was released during his time in London, “Let Me Know” with vocalist Ayah on the Unabombers’ 2004 live-mix CD Electric Soul, Vol. 2.

Returning home to Dumfries, Harris began posting homemade solo recordings to his MySpace page. Along with his work as a solo artist, including touring in front of a full live band, Harris quickly became an in-demand remixer — working on singles by Jamiroquai, Groove Armada, All Saints, and CSS. He also wrote and produced songs for Kylie Minogue’s 2007 comeback album, and collaborated with Dizzee Rascal on “Dance wiv Me,” which reached number one in the U.K.

His second album – Ready for the Weekend, topped the U.K. albums chart and peaked at number 12 on Billboard’s U.S. dance/electronic chart. Through 2011, Harris took on production work for other artists including Rihanna (“We Found Love,” a quadruple-platinum hit in the U.S.), while he also issued two more of his own singles (the Kelis collaboration “Bounce” and “Feel So Close”). Harris’ third solo album, 18 Months, was a collaboration-filled affair that featured “We Found Love” and “Bounce,” plus vocal spots from Ellie Goulding, Florence Welch, and Ne-Yo, among others. It was released in October 2012, hit number one on the U.K. albums chart, and reached number 19 in the U.S.

Forbes reported that he was the highest-earning DJ of 2013; according to the publication, he made 46 million U.S. dollars — 14 million more than runner-up Tiësto. Harris continued to roll and released “Summer,” the lead single for his fourth album, in March 2014.

Calvin Harris just extended his residency with Hakkasan Group in Las Vegas through 2020 for an eyepopping $280 million, which works out to roughly 1 million per show played. Calvin Harris has upcoming shows at Omnia and Wet Republic. Calvin Harris has also headlined all the major festivals, including Ultra Miami, Coachella, and EDC.

On the Record at the MGM (Open Format)

Front Entrance of On The Record at Park MGM Las Vegas

An ode to all things music takes over On The Record, the new nightclub at the Park MGM. Los Angeles twins Jonnie and Mark Houston created this new nightlife experience that features a music store entrance, karaoke rooms, a speakeasy, a patio with a double-decker bus for the deejays, guest bartenders, and a dance floor.

The experience, unlike any other nightclub in the city, sits across from the Park Theater with a record store entrance that spans two floors.

Club-goers then head to a speakeasy door that leads to an 11,000-square-foot space outfitted with speakers, TV screens, and cassette tapes from yesteryear. Visitors can try out one of the three karaoke rooms, step out on the patio with that double-decker bus, or head to the main room with a deejay booth fashioned from a Rolls-Royce.

Then there’s a living room space with a fireplace, and the vinyl parlor, where guest bartenders sling specialty drinks.

Drai’s After Hours at The Cromwell (2 rooms – 1 Hip Hop, 1 EDM)

After Hours Tables at Drais After Hours Las Vegas

So, the DJ is starting to wind down at the club you’re at but you’ve still got a solid six or seven hours of party left in you. It’s the timeless dilemma many of us have encountered at some point or another.

What to do, what to do… Head to Drai’s After Hours in The Cromwell. Look for the gold elevator marked with the curvaceous body of a woman in ruby red dress. The club is located underground where it originally opened in the Barbary Coast. Plain and simple, if you’re looking for after-hours fun on the Strip, this is the place to be. Cashing in on everything saucy about after-hours, Drai’s digs deep to give you a club experience like no other. Drai’s pioneered the “after-hours” late-night concept in 1997, providing an intimate and exclusive spot where the party continued til sunrise.

Drai’s features two separate rooms – one playing hip hop and one playing electronic music. Be forewarned – on occasion when it gets really busy you may have to pay an extra cover charge to get into the hip hop room. But you can’t put a price on fun!

Move over, slot machines! Las Vegas is shifting from the center of the gambling universe to the center of the nightclub phenomenon, giving Ibiza and Rio a run for their bottle-service money.

Only a few years ago, few people could have predicted how DJ-driven electronic dance music would take off in Sin City, but today, it’s the new paradigm of true over-the-top Vegas vogue, with the world’s top nightclubs — Hakassan (MGM Grand), XS and OMNIA (Caesars Palace), Marquee (Cosmopolitan), and Drai’s (The Cromwell) — leading the charge.

Floor-to-ceiling screens featuring the most impressive visual and lighting effects ever seen, crystal-clear audio at ear-splitting decibels, 80-sided LED disco balls, the world’s highest-grossing celebrity DJs, and a teeming mass of fist-pumping humanity all combine for non-stop after-dark debauchery.

Of course, you’ll have to navigate the lines, payoffs at the door, and money-grubbing scene inside. And remember, if you don’t look like the 21st-century version of Superfly, forget about passing the dress test.

The Most Expensive Champagne in Las Vegas

Congratulations, Las Vegas, you are about to open the biggest bottle of rosé Champagne ever produced. Tonight Hakkasan‘s MGM Grand outpost will uncork a bottle of Armand de Brignac Rosé 30L Midas, and it is enormous. According to the press release below, the 30-liter bottle contains about the same amount of champagne as 40 standard 750ml bottles. Its dimensions are similar to that of a small human’s: the bottle weighs about 100 pounds and is over four feet tall. Three bottles of this over the top champange are available at Omnia Las Vegas as well.

Not surprisingly, this gigantic bottle of Champagne doesn’t come cheap and is priced on the Hakkasan menu at $275,000. The price apparently accounts for the fact that only eight people work on the bottle, doing everything by hand. A very limited number of bottles were produced, and shipping must be very difficult, so anyone looking to spend piles and piles of money on an expensive drink might want to consider the more readily available $10,000 cocktail. Check out the press release below:

ARMAND DE BRIGNAC CREATES LARGEST ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE EVER PRODUCED
NEW 30-LITRE ROSÉ “MIDAS” TO BE UNVEILED AT HAKKASAN LAS VEGAS
Taking Winemaking Innovation & Handmade Luxury to New Heights

Since Armand de Brignac Champagne was first launched, we have strived to do things distinctively. We are therefore excited to announce the release of our groundbreaking 30-Liter Rosé “Midas” bottle. Equivalent to 40 regular-sized 750ml bottles, weighing 100 pounds (45kg) and measuring over 4 feet high, this colossal bottle is the world’s largest bottle of Rosé Champagne ever produced!

We are further excited to announce that, on 13th December 2013, the first ever Armand de Brignac Rosé Midas will be uncorked at Hakkasan Las Vegas located at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Yvonne Lardner, Global Director of Brand Communications for Armand de Brignac Champagne comments, “From our insistence upon using grapes from the most historic villages of Champagne to our requirement that every step of the process be done by hand, everything about Armand de Brignac is done with an eye for quality and uniqueness. We are proud to be setting new benchmarks with our incredible large-format bottles and thrilled to be unveiling our one-of-a-kind Rosé Midas Champagne experience at Hakkasan Las Vegas.”

Armand de Brignac Champagne, instantly identifiable by the distinctive pewter Ace of Spades insignias on its bottle, exemplifies unmatched winemaking expertise and a true passion for the art of Champagne. A staff of just eight people crafts each bottle of Armand de Brignac by hand at our family house, established in 1763 in Chigny-les-Roses, France. Armand de Brignac counts among its accolades a score of 98 points from world-renowned wine critic José Peñín and a glowing review from UK critic Jancis Robinson. Armand de Brignac’s flagship Brut Gold cuvée was ranked No. 1 by Fine Champagne Magazine in their “100 Best Champagnes for 2010” blind tasting. Ovechkin and the Capitals Celebrate with Tiesto at Hakkasan

LAS VEGAS — Four minutes to 2 a.m., down a few buttons on his pink button-down and high on a cocktail of athletic glory, Stella Artois, life itself and God-knows-what-other-liquids, Alex Ovechkin danced on the Hakkasan stage as confetti rained and lasers flashed, a few feet from both his friend Tiesto and the Stanley Cup, singing along to a pulsing, EDM version of The Outfield’s “Your Love.”

Well, what would you do in his shoes?

First, the Washington Capitals won the National Hockey League championship Thursday night. And then, as their red-rocking fans were passing out in a fit of euphoria back East, they took full advantage of the location in which they claimed the franchise’s first Stanley Cup. They hit the club, prize in hand, and they partied.

Some say the sun doesn’t rise in Vegas. The Caps, led by their captain, were up to the challenge of finding out.

Ovechkin first touched the Cup at 8:19 p.m. local time. Following it from there until daylight threatened — from the ice to the booze-soaked locker room to a subdued family dinner to a thumping nightclub hosted by one of the world’s most famous DJs and back out to the fluorescent desert — meant witnessing an entire work day’s worth of unadulterated joy, a party 44 years in the making.

“This is crazy,” said former Capitals forward and team broadcaster Alan May, looking over the dance floor at the Hakkasan night club, beer in hand. “What a way to do it after all these years.”

Best Las Vegas Clubs on Thursdays

What are the best parties in Las Vegas on Thursdays?

As the weekend draws closer, more and more venues will open their doors to the public. Shows are plenty during Thursday nights but still not quite like the weekend yet. Well, don’t take my word for it, but you probably don’t want to go too crazy just yet.

Hakkasan

The undisputed number one on this list, Hakkasan is easily one of the best clubs on the Strip, or even the world. Hakkasan is a 80,000 square feet, five story mega nightclub with lounges, restaurants all within the premises. While the main room primarily plays EDM, the Ling Ling Lounge and Ling Ling Room on the third floor has someone spin Hip Hop on most nights. The DJs that grace the stage of the main room are always the biggest names around like Calvin Harris and Tiesto. We have a guestlist with Hakkasan on most nights so make sure you check out our app or web app.

Drais Nightclub

Drai’s is the crown jewel and prized brainchild of nightlife guru Victor Drai. In one of his interviews, Drai famously said that he designed this place inch by inch. Every section of the club is exceptionally well thought out and the state-of-art sound systems along with probably the best visual effects on the strip gives Drai’s a pretty respected place in the Las Vegas nightlife scene. Note that we do have a guestlist at Drai’s on most nights so make sure you sign up to save a few bucks.

Encore Beach Club at Night

The late night counterpart of the best day party in Las Vegas, EBC at night does not disappoint at all. Performing talent is not as great as Encore Beach Club during the day offers but do expect lineups to be pretty solid still. A climate controlled dome also makes sure that parties goes on all year long. If you want to save up your nightclub energy for the upcoming weekend. Taking a dip at the pools in EBC at night might just be the perfect choice for you.

Tao

Tao, one of the everlasting mega clubs on the strip, offers a full Vegas experience with 60,000 square feet of pure entertainment including a nightclub, beach club, lounge, restaurant and banquet hall. If you had dinner at its restaurant, you can go straight into the club afterwards without having to lineup or pay a cover (this might not be applicable to holiday weekends and busy weeks). We have a guestlist here which you can sign up with the link below.

Liquid

Located at the excellent Aria Hotel, Liquid is a comparatively smaller pool party venue compared to the average Vegas day club. However, it does have lower minimums and ticket prices which mean you can save a few bucks for the expensive ones later on. Regardless, if you are looking for a more relaxed place to spend you morning afternoon in a pool but still with music, Liquid is the place to go.
