Meek Mill Announces Residency at Drai’s Nightclub
Following a brief prison stint, Meek Mill is back at the top of his game, having already performed at Rolling Loud in May and Hot 97’s Summer Jam earlier this month, after his release from prison in April. Now, Meek is extending his itinerary a bit further as he’s set to make his return to Las Vegas to kick off his Drai’s Nightclub residency next month.
On July 7, Meek Mill will touch down at the Drai’s Nightclub’s rooftop stage at The Cromwell to kick off his first show during Summer League and will return for a few shows throughout the two-year residency, including a performance on July 21. More dates will be announced in the future.
“The energy at Drai’s Nightclub has always been amazing and I’ve had some special moments there over the years,” Meek says in a statement. “That’s why I’m excited to make some more new memories there with my residency and I can’t wait to give my fans an unforgettable experience.”
Konstantine Deslis, entertainment director at Drai’s Las Vegas, adds: “Meek Mill is one of the most important artists in hip-hop music today, with music and a live show that is like nothing you will ever see. As long-time partners, we’re proud to welcome Meek Mill back to the Drai’s LIVE Stage as he delivers a residency performance that can only be found in Las Vegas at Drai’s Nightclub. Meek Mill has elevated himself as a hip-hop Icon, and representative of the Culture that adds to the Drai’s Live Roster in a big way.”
Ahead of his return to the Drai’s Nightclub stage, Meek will hit the stage at the 2018 BET Awards, which will be hosted by Jamie Foxx, along with fellow performers Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae, Migos, Ella Mai and H.E.R.
