Seismic Dance Event 2021 Lineup Announced

After postponing spring and fall events, Seismic Dance Event has announced plans for an in-person festival on May 21-23, 2021 outside of Austin, Texas. Seismic positions itself as a boutique festival which aims to recruit a niche lineup of house and techno talent, with this year’s programming including Claude Vonstroke, Nicole Moudaber, Artbat, Tchami, Charlotte de Witte, Ben Böhmer, Bob Moses, Richie Hawtin, SIDEPIECE, John Summit, Walker & Royce, and more.

In a press release, festival organizers RealMusic Events expressed their intentions to follow the COVID-19 guidance of Texas and the CDC outdoor gatherings. In regards to the upcoming Seismic Dance Event 3.3, they stated,

“[the festival will] include health checks, facemask requirements, touch-point hand-wash and sanitation stations, and social distancing. Further safety protocols, including an intimate, limited capacity setting, will be announced with the finalized COVID-19 safety plan.”

Seismic Dance Event is one of several festivals that are slowly trickling back this year. Last month, Shambala Music Festival announced an in-person event slated for August. Additionally, The BPM Festival‘s Costa Rica event is scheduled for early March. Meanwhile, The BUKU Project cancelled its 2021 festival well in advance “in the spirit of transparency and certainty.”

Electric Zoo 2021 Phase One Lineup Announced

With sights set on 2021, Electric Zoo officially announces it’s 2021 phase one lineup. Billed next year as Electric Zoo Supernaturals, New York’s marquee festival returns to Randalls Island Park with fan favorites like Illenium, Kaskade, deadmau5 under his Testpilot moniker, Grammy-nominated Alesso.

Phase one thoroughly covers a broad spectrum of dance music, lining up a weekend of charged performances, including big names such as Seven Lions, Alan Walker, Deorro, Shiba San, Duke Dumont, and Zeds Dead. What’s more—those attending Electric Zoo’s twelfth rendition will be treated to a special sunset performance from Tiësto himself.

More than just a juicy talent roster, the 2021 lineup for Electric Zoo Supernaturals also lives up to the event’s commitment to representing the often unappreciated diversity of the industry. Kevin Mitchell, the festival’s Senior Director of Talent comments,

“While we are beyond excited to share the first phase of Electric Zoo’s 2021 artist lineup, we are even happier to report a nearly 50 percent year-to-year increase of artists who exemplify our continued commitment to deliver lineups that embody the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Electric Zoo Supernaturals is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, September 3 – 5, with tickets on sale now. See the full phase one lineup below.
