Parq is located at 615 Broadway
10 PM – 2 AM on Fridays & Saturdays
Inside Parq SD: So what’s this highly-anticipated new hotspot all about? The restaurant and club together make up 40,000 square feet of entertainment space, all designed by the renowned Davis Ink.
“We approached the revamping of On Broadway with the mindset that we wanted to change the entire guest experience from the time they enter the space to when the night is over,” said Davis in a press release. “Overall, the most exciting part of designing this project was creating two very different spaces with different experiences, that can both work independently but that work together as a whole.”
Guests can meander through vertical gardens in a park-like atmosphere, replete with raw, organic elements, yucca trees and other foliage. In the restaurant, high beams open up to the sky, allowing for fresh San Diego air to enhance the garden scene.
The Restaurant: Chef Errol Le Blanc, previously of Café Sevilla, helms the kitchen here, serving a “progressive American” menu. Fresh seasonal ingredients are the focus, highlighted through Chef Le Blanc’s off-the-wall concepts and creativity in stand-out dishes such as the Monterey Bay crispy bass, 24-hour short rib and the rack of lamb. Reservations can now be made for dinner service here.
The Nightclub: Chandeliers guide party-goers through a dark brick tunnel and onto the dance floor. Contrasting textures and colors stimulate the senses, as seen on the booth upholstery, custom metal tree branch dividers and warm walnut wood tones. Ladies, listen up: A women’s makeup lounge will be available with its own bar, where makeup artists are ready to reset your face. A video confessional and photo booth will also ramp up the fun. While you’re exploring, take note of the luxury VIP tables, a state-of-the-art sound system and lighting by Steve Lieberman of SJ Lighting, whose work includes the Electric Daisy Carnival and Drai’s in Las Vegas.
- You can get free entry into the nightclub if you spend over $25 on food (not including drink) at the restaurant.
- If you want a quick drink, there’s a mini bar downstairs. The 2 bars upstairs in the main club will take some time.
- To avoid waiting in long lines arrive early – Parq gets pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays!
