Best Night Swim Las Vegas
As summer quickly approaches, anyone coming to Las Vegas should be prepared for those hot 98-degree nights. Evening pool parties, otherwise known as nightswims, are by most first-hand accounts the wildest and most epic pool parties in Vegas. There are just a handful of nightswims each week, and they only take place during the summertime months when it is warm enough to hop into the water at night. The dress code at nightswims is fairly lax – you can pretty much wear anything you’d be able to wear to a daytime pool party, e.g. beachwear and swimwear – or you can dress in normal nightclub attire if you’re not planning to get wet. (No, it’s not unusual to see poolside gawkers to the late-night insanity coming straight from the casino high-roller room sporting suits and cocktail dresses.) Checking out a nightswim while in Vegas is something you should check off your bucket list. Tables, tickets, and guest list options when one of your favorite artists takes an evening poolside stage may be found in our Discotech app. Grab your trunks, bikinis, and floaties and get to splash – here is our updated guide to the best nightswim pool parties in Las Vegas for 2023.
EBC at Night
Days of Week: Wednesday / Friday / Saturday
Encore Beach Club is the most popular day party on the strip, and it’s every bit as fun when the sun goes down. EBCN returns for its fifth year, and they’ve come a long way from their once-a-week novelty party to robust anchor events with brand-name EDM acts three nights a week. EBC At Night is a vibrant mixture of the trademark daytime pool elements you’ve fallen in love with at Encore Beach Club plus the after-dark excitement and energy you find in Sin City’s top nightclubs… plus more neon nights and more oversized pool floaties. Bring your swimsuit and get ready to get turnt!
Days of Week: Thursday / Friday / Saturday
Ayu Nights is an outdoor paradise inspired by Southeast Asia’s picturesque islands’ beauty and pleasant mood. When the sun sets, the lights turn on. Ayu Nights is an outdoor nightlife experience held beneath the stars at Ayu Dayclub. Performers include DJ Snake, Tisto, Zedd, and more.
Days of Week: Sunday (or Monday if 3-day weekend), 1-2 times per month
If you’ve never been to an XS Nightclub Sunday nightswim party, it’s an understatement to say you are missing out. Each and every year this party breaks the previous year’s attendance records because they bring in the top DJ talent – Chainsmokers, Alesso, Diplo – and unlike normal Sundays they allow guests to get turnt up inside of the pool. There is no dress code for these Sunday Nightswim events – feel free to wear pool or nightlife attire, and regardless of what you wear everyone is encouraged to jump in the water! Be prepared for things to get wild because as the energy intensifies so does the splashing, and you’re more likely than not going to get wet!
Evening Tide – Tao Beach
Days of Week: Every Sunday (Starting on the 31st of July)
The TAO Hospitality Group, who is responsible for some of the most exhilarating and wildly successful nightclubs and dayclubs spread across 5 continents, has been a powerhouse in Las Vegas night time entertainment for years. However, this time they may have taken it to the next level. This summer, they are are announcing Evening Tide, the night swim hosted at the Venetian’s $50 million renovated Tao Beach pool. This weekly event promises to be one of the biggest (being held at the massive 47,000 square foot venue) and craziest night time pool parties in Sin City.
Daylight at Night
Days of Week: Friday and Saturday
Because dancing by the pool shouldn’t be limited to daytime hours, Mandalay Bay runs a limited edition summer night party on their Daylight grounds that they have cleverly called Eclipse.
Daylight at night debuted in 2014 and has served as host to some of the best night time hip-hop parties all year (also check out nightclubs in Vegas that play hip hop), reminiscent of the famed sunset parties that take place in Ibiza and Mykonos. Lineups of years past have featured hip-hop heavyweights such as Rick Ross, Jeezy, and Post Malone. As the even nightlife entertainment competition in Vegas has gotten fiercer and fiercer with each passing season, Eclipse has reduced its programming to one or two Thursday nights per month; the scarcity of events has raised the demand for them even higher. If you’re not in the market for a VIP table, then guest list signups are available via our Discotech app for some of the shows; that being said, with heavy crowds expected, presale tickets are highly recommended to guarantee entry.
Drais Swim Night @ Drais Nightclub
Days of Week: Thursdays
After its maiden voyage several summers ago, Yacht Club nightswim at Drai’s Beachclub was grounded, only for a scaled-down version to get back afloat last year. The streamlined party is now called Swim Night, but the nautical nocturnal theme prevails from atop The Cromwell at the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard. As with other Drai’s nights, Swim Night will feature hip-hop acts – Nelly, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent have recently graced the stage to the splashing delight of beachwear-clad party animals. Performing artists are backed by an outdoor DJ booth and live performance area; two main pools; VIP bungalows sharing five private pools; 15 luxury mezzanine level cabanas each equipped with HD TVs, private restrooms with showers and their own mezzanine level pool; three full service bars, and eye-catching service staff galore. From front to back and port to starboard, this expansive beachclub setting is the perfect place to splash and dance under the moonlight.
