The 54,500-square-foot pool at the MGM Grand just underwent a $3.574 million remodel to 18,400 square feet of the space. Last year, the pool debuted an expanded DJ booth, an upgraded LED display, extended bar and new furniture. The latest renovations added six new VIP bungalows equipped with furnishings, TVs and misting fans all equipped with three private plunge pools. New restrooms and shower facilities as well as an extended shade area have also been added making Wet Republic one of the great destination for pool parties in Las Vegas.

Cover charge at is usually around $30 for girls, $50 for guys. It really depends on the talent though and for big name DJs (Calvin Harris, Tiesto, etc) expect the price to be higher.

How long will I have to wait to get in?

Average wait times are anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours on  Saturdays and Sundays. Fridays are generally shorter.

When is Wet Republic open?

Every Thursday through Monday from 11 AM – 7 PM. The pool is typically open from mid March to end of October, weather permitting.

What are the best days to go?

Saturday and Sunday are usually the busiest days.

What is the dress code at Wet Republic?

Swimwear is highly encouraged. No speedos / banana hammocks. Euro shorts are okay. No jerseys, sportswear, etc.

What time does the headlining DJ usually perform?

The main performers usually comes on stage to perform sometime between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Depending on the performer, the main performance will usually last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Does Wet Republic have lockers for rent?

Yes, Wet Republic has lockers for rent in order to store your belongings. The lockers are 18’’x12’’ in size, and range in price depending on the day. However, we have seen that the locker rental can be as much as $60 per day. 

Do hotel guests of the MGM Grand get free admission or perks for Wet Republic?

No, hotel guests at MGM do not get free admission to Wet Republic, and they still have to wait in the normal guest line. MGM has another hotel pool that is complimentary for hotel guests. If you are a guest and want to reserve table service, you will still need to purchase Vegas bottle service to reserve a spot.

Does Wet Republic host a night swim?
